The visualiser API

The adapter catalogue is public and needs no key. Rendering is authenticated and metered.

The catalogue is open

GET /api/music/api/adapters lists every visual adapter, and each module is importable straight from the browser. That is how this site's own preview works, and it needs no account.

Rendering is not

Queueing a render needs a session and the music capability, and is metered in render-seconds. A refusal answers 402 with the limit, what you have used, and what it would cost.
